Our client in Farnborough seeks an Electronics Assembler / Proto-Type Wirer for a contract position.
Candidates should have experience building electronic devices and familiarity with electronic instruments like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Responsibilities include assembling and testing electronics, fault-finding, and maintaining accurate reports of rework and testing activities.
A keen interest in electronics, along with the ability to read engineering drawings and circuit diagrams, is essential.
The position offers a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per year and requires at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Our client based in Farnborough is looking for an Electronics Assembler / Proto-Type Wirer to join their team on a contract basis. Our client produce work alongside their customers in engineering-led industries which include, custom- metalwork engineering and electro-mechanical integration.

Responsibilities

Build, assemble and test electronics assets, including electro-mechanical, surface mount and through-hole components
Fault-finding at the top level and down to component level. Rework of PCB assemblies when required.
Electronics testing, calibration, failure analysis and report writing.
Maintain accurate reports of rework and testing activities.
Execute a range of engineering tests, from set-up to running and recording data.

Skills

Experience building electronic devices.
Familiar with the use of electronic instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc
Through-hole and surface mount soldering experience.
Ability to read engineering drawings, circuit diagrams and schematics.
A keen interest in electronics.
Flexible, multitasking-capable mindset.
Programming proficiency, especially in Python, is a strong advantage.
