Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Farnborough.

Role Purpose

  • To assist with the management, support, development and maintenance of networked systems and servers.

Responsibilities

  • Help the Infrastructure Lead make planned changes to college systems and software, like Microsoft InTune and Jamf.
  • Keep track of IT equipment and manage user accounts, including setting up temporary accounts when needed.
  • Test and install software and security updates, and help investigate and resolve any security incidents.
  • Support end-users during busy times and help with opening and closing procedures, including occasional travel between campuses.

Requirements

  • A degree, HND or equivalent work-based experience in computing or a related field
  • Experience supporting MS Windows and Mac OS (desirable)
  • Software and Hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of Networking Fundamentals
