Providing administrative and practical support to fee earners in handling residential property transactions. This role contributes to the smooth progression of property transactions, maintaining high standards of client care and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Your job will be varied one and will involve;

  • Providing quotes to prospective clients and dealing with initial enquiries
  • Dealing with registration of property at the Land Registry and answering any requisitions
  • Dealing with lender’s requirements after completion and with deeds after completion
  • Answering department telephones and directing to the correct person
  • Providing assistance to Fee Earners over the course of the entire conveyancing transaction
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and case files, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and responding to inquiries
  • Communicate with clients to obtain necessary documents, signatures, and information required for transactions.
  • Assist in resolving any queries or issues raised by third parties during the process
  • Draft and format correspondence, including letters, emails, and reports as directed
  • Conduct initial reviews of contracts, title documents, and other property documents
  • Conduct ID checks and verify client information in line with AML regulations.
  • Attend site visits and other external meetings, if required

The successful person will have;

  • The individual must possess at least 5 GCSE’s Grade A* to C (9-4) including Maths and English.
  • A full driving licence and use of a vehicle is essential
  • Experience of working in a legal environment is not required, although experience within an office environment will be an advantage.
  • Data entry skills are essential
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure

What you can expect;

  • Based in Farnborough
  • Up to £35,000
  • Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm, 5pm finish on a Friday
