We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Legal Secretary to join our client’s growing team.

The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to legal professionals, ensuring the efficient operation of the office.

This role requires excellent communication skills, a high level of discretion, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced legal environment.

Job Description:

  • Prepare and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and contracts
  • Maintain and organise case files, both physical and electronic
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and court dates
  • Manage calendars and handle client communications
  • Conduct legal research and gather necessary documentation
  • File legal documents with courts and other relevant authorities
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Assist with billing and invoice preparation
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documents, and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with court filing systems and procedures is a plus
