Dealership Depot Manager – Farnborough

We are currently seeking an experienced Dealership Depot Manager to join a well-established company. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy commercial depot.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the aftersales service provided to the customers, driving profitability, ensuring high customer service standards, and managing a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximise profitability of parts and service departments through efficient staff utilisation and organisation
  • Assist with budgeting in collaboration with GM/FC
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards
  • Oversee recruitment and selection of staff across all departments
  • Contribute to development of operational and administrative systems for quality, efficiency, and timeliness
  • Stay updated on relevant legal requirements
  • Strive to exceed customer service level expectations and agreements
  • Develop and implement staff training plans
  • Maintain high standards for depot premises in line with company guidelines
  • Ensure adequate security measures are in place for the depot
  • Seek new business opportunities in collaboration with GM/GSM
  • Resolve invoice-related queries promptly
  • Monitor warranty and contract ledger
  • Participate in company campaigns and competitions
  • Perform other duties as required by the General Manager

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience in a main dealer workshop
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Current driving licence
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and problem-solving ability
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
