Maintenance Team Lead
Farnborough
Up to £37.5K + overtime (up to double time)
RPS are working in conjunction with a global, tier 1 aerospace manufacturer who are looking for a Maintenance Team Lead to join them to oversee the Farnborough facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspects plant and evaluates use of space and facilities.
- Analyzes firms HVAC systems, computer network, lighting and other factors.
- Plans, budgets and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.Â
- Performs audits to support facility planning.Â
- Acts as liaison to public utility, environmental and energy agencies.Â
- Manages subordinate supervisors in the Maintenance Department.Â
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
Essential
- Must possess an outstanding degree of judgment, organization, planning, initiative, flexibility and creativity
- Must be able to perform calmly and reasonably under pressure from demand for production and other exigencies
- Requires capability to be resourceful and very creative with machinery and facilities
- Physical capability of lifting materials up to 50 pounds and carrying up and down steps, walking to various programs as the situation warrants
- Two to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education/experience
