Role: Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer / Process Engineer Salary: £30,000 to £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, + Bonus + Benefits (25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, life assurance, pension)Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am till 3:45pm (6:00am till 1:00pm on Friday's) Location: Commutable from Aldershot, Farnborough, Guildford, Basingstoke, Camberley and surrounding areasThis is a brand new position in this growing company! ResponsibilitiesTo support the planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of various engineering machining projects, taking it from concept to completion. Help map out, plan and improve the production process using the most cost-effective methods, with the aim of reducing the impact of production on the environment. You will be responsible for applying your technical expertise to solve complex problems, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure the efficient operation of our systems. You will work closely with the technical and process engineers in creating process strategies, defining necessary resources, optimising existing processes, and creating and updating process guidelines and documentation.· Taking customer drawings and planning all work orders, new and existing. · Evaluate and dictate manufacturing routings specific to drawings in accordance with relevant customer and regulatory specifications.· Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching testing methods, and conferring with equipment suppliers and customers.· Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Managers to ensure all stores stock, equipment and materials are available.· Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing products and processes.· Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.· Researching and implementing opportunities to make processes more efficient.RequirementsWe are looking for someone with stores/stock control experience in a factory environment.· Experience of working in a Machining / Precision Machining Environment, this could be in Aerospace or Defence · Experience of design and drawings such as tool design· Worked in a similiar role covering some areas including: design, new product introduction, planning. · Some similiar job titles could include Manufacturing Engineer, Planning Engineer, Production Engineer, NPI, Process Engineer · Computer literate - able to use suite of Microsoft applications· Heat Treatment knowledge is advantageous · Excellent written and verbal communication skillsIf this role sounds of interest, please apply now and send your most up to date CV to Wesley at TechNichols Resourcing to be considered.
