We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team in Woking. This role involves teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) students and requires a passion for science and education. The position is available from 17th March until the end of the school year, with the flexibility to work full-time or part-time, but a minimum commitment of 3 days per week is required.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative science lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student curiosity and enthusiasm for science.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the science curriculum and student learning experiences.
- Utilise various teaching resources and technologies to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
- Participate in school meetings and events, and contribute to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching science at KS3 level.
- Strong understanding of the science curriculum and teaching methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week).
- Right to work in the UK.
