My client prides themselves on delivering exceptional service and quality. Their workshop is the heart of their operations, and they are looking for a dedicated Workshop Controller to join their dynamic team.

Job Description

As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our workshop. Your role will involve coordinating the workflow, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of service. You will be the key link between our technicians and the service advisors, ensuring that all work is completed on time and to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the daily workflow in the workshop.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Liaise with service advisors to provide accurate updates on vehicle status.
  • Monitor and maintain workshop equipment and tools.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
  • Provide leadership and support to the workshop team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Technical background and understanding of vehicle repairs and maintenance.
