This practice have built a strong reputation for providing excellent advice and first class services to business and personal clients, boasting many clients in the local community and service businesses, small and large, across many sectors.

This is a growing accountancy practice, with 2 partners, and 15 members of staff, and are consistently growing and looking to expand their operations with a seasoned accountant



Senior Accountant Job Overview

  • Preparation of management accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS
  • Handling VAT returns, and bookkeeping responsibilities
  • Assisting clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Managing deadlines and ensuring timely submission of accounts
  • Client portfolio management, manage a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as the primary contact for accounting and advisory service. Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Supervision and Development of junior staff
  • Varied position, with opportunity to prepare cash flows, budgets, and more


Senior Accountant Job Requirements

  • Experience with management accounts and statutory accounts, and able to hit the ground running without training
  • At least 3 years experience in accountancy practice
  • ACCA qualified or part qualified
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Audit experience in a bonus but by no means essential
  • Competence with SAGE, IRIS, and XERO is beneficial
  • UK Citizen with no requirement for sponsorship
  • Must be within a 45 minute commute to Farnham


Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits

  • Salary depending on experience, ranging from £40-50k
  • Hybrid working - 3 days in office, and 2 days from home
  • Statutory sick pay, pension contribution, and holiday
  • Flexible working hours. Standard hours are 9am-5:30pm
