The role will include but isn't limited to the following...
- Working diligently with the fermentation and formulation team to develop product within the confines of company standards.
- Measuring ingredients to specification to ensure the product is manufactured to company standard.
- Assist with the brewing process to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Quality Checking of the product and processes
- Conduct regular checks on fermentation, such as temperature, PH and pressure.
- Working as part of a well oiled team and leading by example where applicable
- Keeping the production area clean, tidy & sterile.
- Ensuring Health and Safety standards are followed and maintained at all times.
- General production duties.
The ideal candidate will have but isn't limited to the following...
- Must have previous Production experience.
- Previous experience with Fermentation or Brewing would be advantageous
- Be forward thinking & able to think three steps ahead of current task.
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to stand/work on their feet for the whole day.
- Must drive & have your own transport due to the remote location of the production site.
- Experience following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance with industry regulations
- Basic Computer knowledge to document processes such as Microsoft office (Excel)
- Must be okay working in a strict sterile environment & adhere to the strict rules of the site. (No makeup, no false nails/nail polish, no false eyelashes, no jewellery, no perfume, hair must be tied back/neat & tidy. Must wear hair/beard net, Must adhere to rigorous hand washing & wear lap coat & steel toe capped safety boots.)
Hours, days & pay...
- Working 8 hour shifts with a half an hour unpaid break, between the operational hours of 06:00am - 18:00pm.
- Monday to Friday.
- Occasionally weekend work will be offered/required - working 3/4 hours on a Sunday may be required depending on business needs but notice will be given.
- 37.50 hours per week.
- £26,250 per annum.
