Bennett & Game are delighted to once again be partnering with a fantastic accountancy practice in Farnham, as they recruit for a Personal Tax Manager to join their team. Offering a salary of £60-75k, hybrid working, progression opportunities, flexible working hours, and more.

This practice have built a strong reputation for providing excellent advice and first class services to business and personal clients, boasting many clients in the local community and service businesses, small and large, across many sectors.

This is a growing accountancy practice, with 2 partners, and 15 members of staff, and are consistently growing and looking to expand their operations with a new personal tax manager, to manage a portfolio of approx. 450 personal tax returns, and to also manage the preparation and submission of P11D returns

Personal Tax Manager Job Overview
  • Manage a varied portfolio of approximately 450 personal tax returns
  • Managing the preparation and submission of P11D returns
  • Providing consistent advisory services on personal tax matters when required, including CGT, IHT, and income tax
  • Advise clients on tax-efficient structures
  • Supervise and mentor junior members of the team, reviewing work completed by junior members of staff
  • Identify opportunities to expand the personal tax offering within the practice
Personal Tax Manager Job Requirements
  • Must be suitably qualified to manage a portfolio of 450 clients
  • ACA, ACCA, CTA qualified, or QBE
  • Minimum of 7 years experience working in accountancy practice
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Competence with SAGE, IRIS, and Xero
  • UK citizen with no requirement for sponsorship
  • Must be within a 45 minute commute to Farnham
Personal Tax Manager Salary & Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from £60k-75k
  • Hybrid working - 3 days in office, and 2 days from home
  • Statutory sick pay, pension contribution, and holiday
  • Flexible working hours. Standard hours are 9am-5:30pm
