The firm embraces innovation, utilising up-to-date case management systems to deliver efficient and cost-effective services to clients.The Role:As Head of the Property Department, the successful candidate will oversee a broad range of commercial property matters, including landlord and tenant work, development, real estate finance, sales and acquisitions, and post-completion tasks. The role includes the responsibility of supervising a growing team, including a newly qualified solicitor and secretarial support. Close collaboration with the Partners in the department will be key, with the opportunity for hybrid working that allows a combination of home and office working.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of commercial property transactions from inception to post-completion.
  • Provide expert legal advice on landlord & tenant issues, development projects, real estate finance, and property acquisitions and disposals.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring the department operates efficiently and cohesively.
  • Work closely with Partners and other departments to foster business growth and maintain strong client relationships.

About the Candidate:

  • A Qualified Solicitor with 6+ years PQE in commercial property law.
  • Strong experience in managing a diverse range of commercial property matters independently.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervisory or management roles.
  • Dynamic, detail-oriented, and motivated for career progression.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
