Conveyancing Paralegal

We are seeking a dedicated Conveyancing Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing a diverse caseload of conveyancing matters, providing support to our solicitors, and ensuring a smooth transaction process for our clients.

Day to day of the role:

  • Assist solicitors with the management of caseloads from inception to completion.
  • Draft, prepare and review various legal documents related to property transactions, including contracts, transfers, mortgage deeds, and completion statements.
  • Conduct legal research and due diligence, including property searches and the review of title deeds.
  • Liaise with clients, solicitors, mortgage lenders, and estate agents to facilitate communication and ensure all parties are informed of progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage case files effectively, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
  • Handle pre- and post-completion procedures, including the submission of stamp duty land tax forms and registration applications to the Land Registry.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment.
  • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and property law.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
  • Proficient in the use of case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a team player mentality.
