Site Manager

Clearfield Recruitment have partnered with a leading player in the construction industry, renowned for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead an exciting refurbishment project at ahealthcare facility in Farnham.

Project Overview:
This role will oversee a significant refurbishment, starting on 14th October 2024 and running until at least April 2025. The position offers the potential to become permanent, depending on mutual interest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure smooth project delivery, meeting deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
• Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations, creating and maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.
• Liaise with staff and external stakeholders to minimise disruption to operations.
• Monitor and manage the progress of the refurbishment, reporting regularly to the Contracts Manager.
• Manage site logistics, materials, and schedules to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain clear and accurate site records, including daily reports, timesheets, and site documentation.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in refurbishment projects, ideally in healthcare or similar environments.
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a focus on working in sensitive or live environments.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing multiple subcontractors and liaising with stakeholders.
• Problem-solving ability, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Ability to work under pressure, ensuring smooth project progress in line with tight deadlines.
