A client is seeking an energetic Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to advance their career.
The role involves cost control and value management for high-end residential projects near Farnham, Surrey.
Candidates should have experience in BOQ production, tender return assessment, and subcontractor account management.
A salary of £40,000 to £50,000 is offered, with a preference for candidates having 2-5 years of relevant experience.
The position is expected to last approximately 4 weeks but may be extended.

I am working with a client who is looking for an energetic, communicative Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor, aspiring to take the next step in their career. You will be responsible for cost control and value management across a small number of high-end residential projects. Working from the clients office near Farnham, Surrey, you will work closely with the Director, as well as other members of the project team, namely Project and Site Managers, as well as their Estimators and Buyers.

Qualifications/Skills

Cost control, cost management, and cost/value reporting
Experience in BOQ production and assessment
Tender return assessment and order processing
Efficient change control
Take-offs and measurement
Subcontractor account management
Knowledge of high-end, residential construction industry
Strong analyticaland problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in relevant software and tools (MS Excel is essential)
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is preferable, but not essential
Similar UK industry experience is desirable, especially with a high-end residential contractor
