This well-established financial services organisation based in Farnham are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team. You will be joining a growing organisation that has a brilliant working culture and a very stable & established finance team. Furthermore, this role will be offered on a hybrid working scheme post completion of probation and also includes a study support package. Finance Assistant - About The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be working within a sub team of 5. You will also be required to support other departments within finance and build relationships with internal colleagues.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Processing invoices on a daily basis in a timely manner.
  • Daily/weekly payments of rebates and liaising with suppliers regarding any issues.
  • Setting up new client accounts on the bespoke accounting system.
  • Credit control collection across all areas within the business.
  • Client account reconciliation, including allocating self-assessment receipts.
  • Identifying any process/procedure improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Supporting in the production of financial reports and raising any concerns to senior finance.

The successful Finance Assistant will have:

  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in other roles such as banking/financial services would also be accepted
  • Excellent IT skills & attention to detail
  • AAT or QBE candidates will be considered
