Job-Specific Responsibilities
Health & Safety: Ensure a safe, clean, and secure environment for personnel in the warehouse.
Warehouse Operations: Manage efficient facilities for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Stock Management: Prevent stock loss or damage through proper storage procedures and regular inventory checks.
Space Utilization: Optimise warehouse space and resources with adequate personnel and tools.
Team Leadership: Conduct team meetings, provide training, maintain updated job descriptions, and assess performance annually.
Discipline and Compliance: Enforce timekeeping, discipline, and adherence to company and legal standards.
MHE Operations: Ensure safe operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) by trained operators.
Customer Relations: Communicate with clients to meet requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Continuous Improvement: Identify cost-effective solutions and efficiency improvements.
General Responsibilities
Adhere to company health and safety policies and standards.
Maintain professionalism and promote a positive company image.
Comply with company rules, agreements, and posted notices.
Foster effective teamwork and communication within and across teams.
