We have been instructed to recruit an experienced European Export Freight Operator to join our client in their Felixstowe operation. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading independent transport company that pride themselves on providing first class European Road Haulage and International Freight services to their clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key account management.
- Responsible for UK export collection and deliveries to Europe.
- Ensure collection and delivery KPI’s are met.
- Ensure documentation for shipments are ready in a timely manner.
- Liaising with the customs team.
- Pricing and negotiating freight rates.
- Meet customers’ expectations.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years recent, relevant experience gained from within transport and/or freight forwarding. You must have previous experience working n a fast-paced environment along with excellent MS Office skills.
