Our client is currently looking for an import coordinator to join their friendly team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor ocean import shipments from origin to destination.
- Communicate with overseas agents, shipping lines to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and process import documentation, including customs clearance paperwork.
- Arrange transportation and delivery of cargo to customers.
- Maintain accurate records and update shipment status in the company's systems.
- Resolve any issues or delays in the import process promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in ocean import operations
- Experience with IPAFF is an advantage but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of import regulations and customs procedures.
