So what does the role look like?- Manage import and export entries with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service through effective email communication.
- Liaise with our German office to complete the import processes once the UK export is finalised.
- Handle the accounting and rating of jobs to ensure timely invoicing and accuracy.
- Stay updated on customs regulations and compliance to provide informed guidance.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance operational efficiency.
- Proven experience in customs clearance, import, and export processes (minimum of 2 years preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of UK/EU customs regulations and procedures.
- Strong IT skills, particularly with customs declaration software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with clients and partners.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Competitive salary ranging from £23,500 to £30,000, depending on experience.
