We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our clients warehouse department. This role involves managing day-to-day operations across four warehouses, including two third-party locations. The successful candidate will lead BRC certification efforts, stay updated with AEO accreditation, and assist with ISO accreditation. This is a pivotal role in our clients logistics operations, requiring strong leadership and a strategic approach to managing a diverse team and complex processes.
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee daily management of four warehouses, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Lead the process for BRC certification and maintain compliance with AEO accreditation.
- Assist in the management and acquisition of ISO accreditations.
- Manage a team of 8, including roles in warehouse administration, finance, releases, planning, trailer transport, and forwarding.
- Implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure all team members are trained and compliant with industry standards and company policies.
- Proven leadership experience in logistics, ideally with a focus on warehouse management.
- Familiarity with BRC standards; formal certification is highly desired.
- Knowledge of AEO and ISO accreditation processes.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
