Our client, a prominent UK-based FMCG company within a well-established European group, is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team in Feltham. About the Role:As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end processes, including bank reconciliations, to support timely financial reporting.
- Support the Accounts Payable function by processing invoices, allocating credit notes to purchase orders, and resolving supplier queries.
- Manage proforma invoices, including payment tracking and system allocation.
- Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Handle company credit card transactions and expense processing, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, with a focus on transactional finance.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping.
- Proficiency in managing expenses, credit cards, and month-end reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
