Our client based near Heathrow Airport is looking to add an experienced Fine Art/Antique Packer to their expanding operationMonday to Friday 08.00 - 17.00Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesProfessional handling, packing and crating of sensitive and valuable antiques, furniture, sculptures and fine artPacking and crating for local, domestic and international transportProfessionally and efficiently wrap, load, span, tie in artworks within a truck/container to keep them safe and stable during transportInspecting artworks to determine how, where, when, or if, to touch them and how to pack for transportVisit client premises to conduct site surveys, to ascertain access, best practises etcExpertly Installing artworks, sculptures and high end furnitureEfficiently handling paperwork including bills of lading, labelling, timesheets and detailed condition reports with photosCommunicating with operations team throughout the day Thorough understanding and use of proper packing materials for all surfaces

Key AttributesThorough understanding and a minimum of 5 years experience with industry standards for handling, packing, transporting and installing high end furniture, art and antiquesAbility to efficiently wrap/pack sensitive and valuable furniture, works of art and antiquesBe physically fit and have the ability to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding or mechanized liftsProfessional appearance and demeanourFamiliar with art terminology Driving licence * We are only able to accept applications from candidates with previous experience for this role.If you do not hear from us your application has been unsuccessful.
