My client is a well-established specialist logistics company seeking an experienced Export Packer to join their team.
The role involves packing and handling general cargo and dangerous goods, along with creating labels and managing paperwork.
Candidates should have experience in carpentry or woodwork, with dangerous goods experience being essential.
A UK Driving License is required, and a steady work history is necessary for referencing purposes.
The position offers a salary of £30,000 per year and requires at least 2 years of relevant experience.

My client are a very well established, specialist logistics company looking for an experienced Export Packer to join their busy team.

Daily duties will include:

Packing and handling general cargo and dangerous goods
Casemaking
Creating dangerous goods labels and handling paperwork
Loading and unloading vehicles
Manual handling
Using cutting machines and power tools including saws and nail guns
Wrapping, packing and labelling fragile goods

Experience and skills needed:

Experience in carpentry/ woodwork/ casemaking is an advantage
Dangerous goods experience is essential, ideally DG qualified or awareness
Warehouse experience
UK Driving License is ESSENTIAL
Steady work history due to referencing purposes
PC literate

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 0800am - 1700pm
