A well-established business is looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Director from SAAS background to join their expanding team. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, implementing process improvements and ensuring the organisations goals and objectives are met.

The ideal Operations Director will have strong leadership and communication skills as well as an expertise in operations processes. It is essential that you will have held a similar role and have experience in taking a business through their growth phase, both financially and employees. Any experience of launching across the globe will be advantageous.

You can be based anywhere in the UK, but will need to be in the office1-2 days per week. Along with a salary of up to £120,000 per annum, you can also expect to receive private healthcare, death in service, critical illness cover, 34 days annual leave, plus more!

As Operations Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the operational teams providing direction and leadership, aligning activities with organisational goals and overseeing the day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality and compliance.
  • Overseeing the operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and implement initiatives to streamline operations.
  • Efficiently allocating and managing resources including personnel, equipment and resources.
  • Recruiting, training, guiding and mentoring team leaders, providing clear direction, collaboration and teamwork and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Building strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to enable effective communication between departments
  • Implementing and maintaining quality control measures to ensure products and services meet or exceed established standards.
  • Addressing and resolving any quality issues promptly and effectively, coordinating with customers and teams to deliver satisfactory resolutions
  • Analysing, anticipating and forecasting trends and patterns of the company and marketplace to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with the finance department to develop and manage the operations budget, monitoring expenses and implementing measures for improvement whilst maintaining operational excellence.
  • Contributing to the development of the overall organisational strategy and provide insights and recommendations for long term operational excellence.

We’re looking for an Operations Director with:

  • Extensive experience in the role, or in a similar role.
  • Experience in service delivery within the IT software industry, ideally within an ERP SaaS software supplier, such as Oracle / NetSuite, Business Central, SAP, etc.
  • Experience of scaling departments within a growing business.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, identifying problems and proposing effective solutions.
  • In depth knowledge of diverse business functions.
  • Familiarity with various business software, e.g. ERP, CRM, project management tools.
  • Implementation experience in ISO27001 & ISO9001.
  • insights and recommendations for long term operational excellence.
