I am currently recruiting on behalf of a nationwide contractor who is looking to hire a site manager with a background as a site engineer.
The reason for this is the contractor needs the engineering on site from brownfield onwards to be completed, ground surveys, setting out etc,. and once complete the successful candidate will go on to manage external elements of the build and then into general site management after the external sections of the project are complete.
The project is a steel framed warehouse, with the end client being a huge industrial and logistics provider, so previous experience working on complex warehouse/distribution projects would be desirable for my client.
Qualifications:
- In date CSCS card
- In date SMSTS
- In date First Aid at Work
- Kit is provided for by the client, if you would prefer to use your own that is fine, however it isn't covered in the day rate provided by the client
- Any other accreditation is a bonus
