Transport Planner

Right Now Group are working with a Freight Forwarder based in Heathrow, seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their transport team. This role is key to ensuring smooth transport operations and consistently excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing high volumes of communication and adapting to dynamic schedules.

Salary: £40,000

Location: Heathrow

Shift:4 on 4 off X2 days X2 nights 12 hour shifts (06:00-18:00, 18:00-06:00)

• Plan and manage transport and airport transfers to ensure all targets are consistently met or exceeded.
• Take operational responsibility on night shifts for both staff and vehicles.
• Handle a high volume of communication, including managing emails daily and engaging with clients via phone.
• Build strong relationships with customers and delivering consistently high levels of satisfaction
• Confidently manage airline and freight cargo while adhering to operational procedures.
• Provide timely reports to relevant departments and ensure legislative compliance in all areas.
• Deliver solutions for last-minute bookings
• Perform general administrative duties as requested by management.

• Previous experience in transport planning and working in a busy transport operation.
• Knowledge of air and road logistics
• Capable of working effectively under pressure.
• Proficient in IT systems
