We have an amazing opportunity for a Special Educational Needs Coordinator to promote and support the progress and achievement of SEND students throughout the school. You will manage learner support ensuring that the special educational needs of young people in custody are identified and assessed as well as monitor planned support according to learners individual learning needs so that any barriers to learning are overcome.

Location: Feltham

Salary: £49,000 to £55,000 per annum (dependent on skills/experience)

The successful candidate will have:

DfES qualified teacher status Degree level qualification

Possession of or working towards the NASENCo or equivalent qualification

Proven successful teaching experience

Experience of supporting young people in an education setting in overcoming

barriers to learning.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
