A fantastic  opportunity has now arisen for an Senior Warehouse Operative to join our client’s successful team in Ashford, Staines.

About our client:

About the role:

As a Senior Warehouse Operator you will be required to carry out a variety of duties including but not limited to:  Running addtional office reports, basic equipment and building repairs, PAT testing and racking audits. Also to support and guide the less experienced members of your team. Whilst on-site to ensure there is a safe and productive workplace and an efficient operating environment.

The duties you will be required to undertake may vary depending on the workload and shift.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Performing Stock checks/PI and weekly Cycle counts. 

-       Liaise with the customer to report findings and conduct stock investigations

-       Raise/Monitor and conclude NCR’s, On Hold and Quarantine stock

  • Booking goods in and out
  • General warehouse office duties when required
  • Liaising with internal and external customers, in a professional and courteous manner
  • Loading & unloading vehicles
  • Process customer (RMA’s) return merchandise authorisations
  • Updating warehouse systems, ensuring a high degree of accuracy
  • Ensure all items that arrive and are dispatched are recorded on the appropriate paperwork and follow the agreed process
  • Ensure equipment and stock are clearly labelled
  • Ensure the warehouse and yard is clean and tidy at all times
  • Loading & unloading procedures are followed
  • Fork Lift Truck operation
  • In addition to your normal duties you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business and flexibility should be recognised as paramount to the role
  • You may on occasion be required to work in other Rhenus sites as workload dictates.

Skills & experience:

  • Experienced Warehouse person with at least 2 years experience.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of health & safety and environmental protection
  • Warehouse Admin, stock control including perpetual stock checks
  • Counter Balance, Reach Truck, Fork Lift Truck, Powered Pedestrian Truck and driving licence
  • Good team member with a flexible and can-do attitude
  • Computer literate, able to use Stock control systems
