CMA recruitment Group is partnering with our Ferndown, Dorset client who is currently looking for a sales ledger assistant to support them with their client billings on a permanent basis.  Due to rapid growth they are looking for additional heads to join their close knit finance team.

As sales ledger assistant you will be issuing correct billings and maintain customer accounts and building relationships with key account holders.

What will the Sales Ledger Assistant involve?

  • Raise high volume sales invoices per month, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing in line with scheduling on a quarterly, weekly, and ad-hoc basis.
  • Conduct credit checks on new customers using Credit Safe and assess creditworthiness.
  • Set up new customer profiles in the accounting system, ensuring complete and accurate data entry.
  • Internal communication liaising with wider finance team and sales team.
  • Building relationships with customers.
  • Ensuring billing details are inputted correctly.
  • Issue billing through a variety of means including invoices and customer portal systems.

Suitable Candidate for the Sales ledger Assistant  vacancy:

  • Previous experience in a sales ledger or accounts assistant role, preferably with billings experience.
  • Strong understanding of invoicing processes, credit checks, and bank reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external clients.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
