Finance Supervisor

CMA recruitment Group is partnering with our Fordingbridge,hampshire client who is currently looking for a Finance supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis reporting into the Finance Manager you will oversee the day-to-day running of a team of 8 across transactional finance.

What will the Finance supervisor role involve?

• Lead a team of 8 primarily looking after purchase, sales ledger and billings.
• Review and authorise payment runs in line with company policies.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any escalated discrepancies.
• Monitor customer accounts and ensure effective credit control practices are in place.
• Review and manage aged debt reports, ensuring proactive debt collection.
• Manage the escalation of overdue accounts and legal recovery processes where necessary.
• Conduct regular reviews of processes, implementing improvements where necessary.
• Ledger close for month end
• Provide cashflow reports for senior management
• Support with month end processes.

Suitable Candidate for the Finance Supervisor  vacancy:

• Strong knowledge of both purchase and sales ledger processes.
• Experience in managing or mentoring a small team.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
• Strong reconciliation skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
