We are delighted to be working exclusively with an amazing business in the renewables sector who are looking for a new Finance Manager who can be number one within this business but also report to the Group above.
What the Finance Manager job involves
- Preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in both the company and group formats.
- Prepare and produce the annual Budget and re-forecast figures.
- Reconcile and confirm Inter-company balances including monthly revaluation to reflect group balances.
- Prepare group reports monthly including balance sheet, P&L, cashflow, budgets, financial statements etc.
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Sales ledger and Aged debtor analysis completed monthly.
- Prepare accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, fixed assets list and accounts payable and receivable transactions. Â
- Analysis of the payroll details for group consolidation and reporting requirements
- Support with the production of Statutory Accounts for Audit.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.Â
Skills required
- Experience as a Finance Manager / Financial Controller from within an industrial / Manufacturing / Engineering / Logistics or similar industry
- Either Qualified by experience, part qualified or ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified.
- People Management experience.
- Previous use of Sage would be beneficial.
- Good communication skills with the attention to detail to match.
- Previous experience of Group reporting.
