The Wilf Ward Family Trust currently has fantastic opportunities for a Support Worker to join our team at Muston Road, Filey. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering specialised care services to individuals with complex health needs, ensuring that all needs are met with the highest level of quality and compassion.

Muston Road is a large traditional four-bed property. We provide 24-hour support currently to 3 individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex health and mobility issues.

Working as a Support Worker means no two days are the same, which is what makes the role exciting! It encompasses a range of tasks dependent on the individual's needs, including:

  • Personal care.

  • Meal preparation.

  • Monitoring, recording, and administering medication.

  • Assistance with mobility.

  • Accompanying individuals to a range of activities including, bowling, swimming, horse-riding, going to sensory rooms, the cinema, and days out.

We have a fantastic training programme that will give you the skills and knowledge you need to excel in this role. What we do need is someone with a compassionate and caring nature, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team and a willingness to undergo relevant training and development.
