Bank Support Worker
Location: Fleet, Hampshire
Salary: £14.23 per hour for weekdays, £15.53 per hour for weekends, National Living Wage for sleep-in nights
Shifts: Day and Sleep-in nights, 12-hour shifts
- Day: 7:30am - 7:45pm
- Night: 7:30pm - 7:45am

The Role
Our client is recruiting an enthusiastic, motivated and highly driven Bank Support Worker to join a team providing support to a 47-year-old gentleman with an acquired brain injury living in his own property in Fleet, Hampshire. He is passionate about music, which involves hosting his own weekly DJ radio shows, playing music at live events and attending music festivals.
He is highly appreciative of his support team who help maximise his independence and his ability to achieve desired goals. The team use effective planning strategies to support with daily routines and maintain positive and professional relationships with the client and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
Shifts are to support the client with activities of daily living, as he requires support to get motivated for the day and to engage him in different daily tasks. He also requires support with medicine management and assistance with life admin tasks.
They are seeking a support worker with the flexibility to fill in some short notice requests and cover annual leave when the regular team are unable to provide support.
- Shifts include weekdays, weekends and bank holidays
- Flexibility is required to cover holidays and sickness
- Up-to-date Adult Workforce DBS at the enhanced level is required - the employer will pay if you need to apply.

Skills and Qualifications
- Someone who is passionate and committed to their role and the opportunity to get to know the client and make a difference in his daily life
- Ability to communicate effectively with the wider team
- Willingness to engage with training to enhance knowledge and skills required to work with the client
- Previous experience would be an advantage, however, no experience but a willingness to learn may be considered
- Someone with a flexible approach to covering day and night shifts as required for sickness and annual leave
