As we continue to expand, they are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to kickstart their career and grow within the organization.

Position Overview:

As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Director with various accounting tasks and gaining hands-on experience in financial management. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, ambitious, and has a strong desire to progress to a leadership role, ultimately aspiring to become a Finance Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Support the finance team in audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Newly qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
