Connect Appointments are recruiting an Estimator/Senior Estimator to join our Flimsby based client.

Our client is a leading contractor, specialising in building and civil engineering projects across Cumbria and beyond. Working with a multitude of clients from small companies to large multinationals, to local authorities and housing to associations.

We're recruiting an experienced Estimator/Senior Estimator to work out of the Head Office in Flimsby - but remote/flexible working will be considered.

Working as an Estimator, your role will be centred around working to tight deadlines. As such, you will have a good understanding of construction techniques, and tender processes; combined with the following skills, traits and experience for this role include:

  • Experience in cost control and management
  • Strong understanding of administration and negotiation
  • Proven ability to analyse and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools
