Production Operator - Global Consumer Company

Contract: 6-Month Contract

Location: Flint, Wales

Salary: 15.00 - 17.14 per hour

Shift: 4 on / 6 off shift pattern from 7am to 7pm

SRG are working with a Global Consumer company to help them find a Production Operator to join their busy team.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Adheres to all safety policies and principles - and has a level of competence to the SOP standard in defined areas.
  • Identifies hazards in own areas, and seeks to resolve with support.
    Carries out basic operations within a production section - understanding the impact of that process on other areas.
  • Identifies quality issues within own areas and escalates where applicable.
  • Carries out defined work under instruction.
  • Resolves problems within own work area.
  • Is able to control hand tools with precision.
  • Maintains work area to the defined standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Educated to NVQ level 2 or equivalent, preferably within a manufacturing or production discipline.
  • Ideally you will have a basic understanding of paper technology or general manufacturing processes.
  • You will be self-motivated and conscientious to detail in the work they carry out.
  • You will have good numeracy and verbal skills and have a good standard of communication.
  • You will be interested in self-development and willingness to invest their own personal time in further study.
  • Have operational experience with FMCG.
