Forest Care Selection are currently working with a regional care provider, that offers a range of care and support services to individuals that are neurodivergent or have mental health conditions.
This provider is seeking an Area Manager who will support individuals in shared houses or self-contained flats, across the Folkestone, Kent area.
The Area Manager in Folkestone, Kent will:
- Lead a small team of care professionals in the community, with full support from a Team Manager, who you will also directly manage.
- Implement systems and procedures designed to achieve positive outcomes, for individuals that are neurodivergent or have mental health conditions.
- Become part of a team of service managers across Kent, who will liaise with the registered manager for the services.
The Area Manager in Folkestone, Kent will need the following:
- Previous supervisory experience working in a similar supported living, homecare or residential setting.
- An excellent understanding of delivering care & support to adults who are neurodivergent or have mental health conditions.
- Strong communication skills and can lead from the front
- Min of Level 4 in Health & Social Care and be prepared to work towards Level 5.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
