Reed Accountancy & Finance are looking for a dedicated Credit Controller to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and is experienced in managing chasing debt and maintaining client relationships.
Credit Controller Day-to-day of the role:- Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO (days sales outstanding).
- Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within your team.
- Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team.
- Resolving outstanding payment issues and managing invoice disputes.
- Coordinating with the finance team to reconcile accounts receivable.
- Reporting to management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential debtor problems.
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller.
- Strong understanding of the credit control process.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
