We're looking for a Sustainability Packaging Analyst to help our client meet its sustainability goals and stay compliant with packaging. This role is based in Folkestone.

It will involve collecting and organising data about packaging materials for existing and new products, making sure everything is accurate for reporting and compliance. You will be working closely with different teams, including suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering, to gather necessary information.

Duties will include

  • Collect and organise data on all types of packaging
  • Ensure the packaging meets sustainability standards and global regulations
  • Work with various teams across the company (like Packaging Engineering, Procurement, and Global Manufacturing Services) to gather product information.
  • Help track and report on data related to sustainability for internal and external requirements.
  • Work with the team to find any data gaps and make sure all information is complete and up to date.
  • Stay updated on packaging laws and sustainability trends both in the U.S. and internationally.
  • Support packaging engineers in sustainability projects to make sure all data is compliant with new rules.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, or consumer goods packaging.
  • Experience in writing packaging specifications and managing data.
  • Comfortable working with large amounts of data, especially in Excel.
  • Familiar with business systems like SAP and Agile.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental impact.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and eager to learn.
  • Experience in consumer goods packaging or working on sustainability projects.
  • Familiarity with regulations and laws around packaging and waste management

This role pays £16.30ph and is 39 hours per week Monday to Friday. This role offers hybrid working.

This role is a temporary role initially for 12 months.
