French and Spanish Teacher

Salary: £120 - £250 per day
Start Date: Immediate (Term 4, with potential to extend)

Are you a passionate French and Spanish Teacher looking for a flexible role without the additional workload of planning and marking? GSL Education Kent are seeking an enthusiastic French and Spanish Teacher to provide cover for an exciting Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department in a well-regarded school in Folkestone. This part-time position is available for Term 4, with the potential for extension.

The successful French and Spanish Teacher will join a dedicated team, working collaboratively to ensure that students receive high-quality language education.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons to students in line with the MFL curriculum.
- Provide high-quality classroom instruction, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of the usual class teacher.
- Work closely with the MFL department to maintain a consistent and structured approach to language teaching.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to develop their language skills.
- Adapt teaching strategies to support the needs of all learners.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in French and Spanish, with the ability to teach both languages confidently.
- Proven experience as a French and Spanish Teacher in a UK school setting is desirable.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to teaching and working with colleagues.
- A valid driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is preferable due to the location of the school.
