Surveyor / EstimatorOur client is a well-established plumbing & heating business that prides themselves of service, due to continued success they are expanding the division. We are looking for an Estimator to carry out domestic heating, plumbing & electrical estimating works within the local Cheshire area. You'll be office based and will attend sites to carry out surveys / estimation quotations. Due to demand an immediate start can be available.Responsibilities路Calculating the cost of materials, labour and overall costs of the job 路Handling client enquiries, conducting surveys, and preparing detailed, estimates, tenders, and quotations.路Visiting domestic sites to survey works 路Prepare accurate and detailed cost plans and input them into the in-house system路Measure and value the work done on site.路Liaise with the customer, site engineers ect Key Sills 路Knowledge of domestic gas heating / plumbing systems 路Familiarity with building legislation, gas regulations, and health & safety standards.路Experience on the tools as a qualified gas engineer would be an advantage 路Commercial awareness and the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.路Proficient computer skillsIn return for your skills and experience, you will receive:鈥ompetitive base salary鈥ompany vehicle鈥ompany phone鈥ompany uniform鈥umerous staff eventsTo apply, please send a copy of your CV and a covering letter to alex . drury @ nmsrecruit. com or, alternatively, submit your application via the link belowImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
