Ingenium Technical Solutions are proud to be working with a world class technical consultancy based near Bath. Providing Safety, Security, Reliability, and Supportability Engineering solutions they are currently looking for a Human Factors Consultant for a contract position within the nuclear defence sector. This is a full-time hybrid role with flexibility for some remote work. The Human Factors Consultant will be responsible for conducting user research, usability testing, and analysing data to optimize the design and experience of products. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are user-friendly and meet ergonomic standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in human factors, ergonomics, psychology, or a related field
  • Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and interpreting data
  • Knowledge of human-computer interaction principles and design thinking methodologies
  • Proficiency in UX/UI design tools and software
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Factors Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related field
  • Experience in the development of consumer products is a plus Due to the sensitive nature of this role all applicants must be able to obtain/retain security clearance.
