Meter Technician

Hourly Rate: £14.27 PAYE

Job Type: Temporary (12 weeks), 37 hours per week with flexible hours

Day-to-day of the role:

Obtain accurate readings from water meters.
Carry out meter exchanges (full training will be provided).
Collect meter data.
Provide excellent customer service to our customers, ensuring a professional image at all times (uniform and van will be provided).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in retail or hospitality, or any role requiring significant time on your feet is beneficial.
Customer-focused with a professional demeanor.
Physically fit as the role involves walking approximately 3 to 8 miles per day.
Basic IT skills for using handheld computers.
Full UK driving licence is essential.

Working Hours:

Flexible scheduling within the working window of 06:30 to 20:00, Monday to Friday, and 08:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays. This includes early morning starts and late evenings, as these times align with when customers are most likely to be at home.
