Day-to-day of the role:- Obtain accurate readings from water meters.
- Carry out meter exchanges.
- Collect data.
- Provide excellent customer service, acting as the customer’s champion.
- Complete meter reading related operations ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and report maintenance needs, meter exchanges, and potential leaks.
- Conduct flow tests, replace lids, complete void inspections, and confirm correct plots to postal addresses.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Based within 30 minutes of Gainsborough or Scunthorpe.
- Ability to walk 3 to 8 miles per day.
- Proficient in using handheld computers for data collection.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Professional demeanour as a representative of a leading UK water provider.
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.
- Flexibility to work early mornings and late evenings.
