A local accountancy practice in Gateshead are seeking an Accounts Senior, to join their relaxed friendly office to manage a portfolio of clients. They are able to offer either part or full-time hours which makes this a great opportunity for those seeking some flexibility or work life balance.

The Role:

Managing your own portfolio of SME and OMB clients with regular contact to assist with data collation as well as month and year end queries.

Preparation of year end financial statements from trial balance.

Year end corporation tax computations.

Submission of year end accounts and Companies house filing

Liaison with HMRC

Experience required:

Minimum of 3 years accounting experience working in an accountancy practice

Able to prepare a full set of statutory accounts under IFRS and UK GAAP for review

AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified or by experience
