• Preparation of year-end accounts for a significant client portfolio, primarily Limited companies, Partnerships, Sole Traders, and LLPs.
• Working closely with the senior management team to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met across the portfolio.
• Supporting junior accountants by reviewing work and providing training.
• Building strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving.
• Preparation of management accounts.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Identifying technological solutions to improve efficiency.
• Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities.

• AAT qualified or ACCA/ACA part qualified
• Minimum of five years’ experience within UK practice.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of software, including Microsoft Office, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and CCH.
• Xero certified would be advantageous.
• Strong up-to-date technical accounting knowledge.
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Self-motivated and able to oversee workflow.
• A team player able to bring out the best in others.
