Sales Administrator - Gateshead (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Our client, a well-established and growing business in Gateshead, is expanding their team and seeking a dynamic and proactive professional to join them on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension thereafter.

Your Role as a Sales Administrator

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys providing outstanding support to clients and internal teams. You'll play a key role in managing sales orders, processing enquiries, and ensuring seamless communication between departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

  • Processing and managing customer enquiries through to quotation, ensuring efficient follow-up
  • Handling and coordinating sales orders from initial enquiry to delivery
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key accounts
  • Managing communications promptly and professionally via phone and email
  • Supporting sales and marketing initiatives within the business
  • Maintaining the centralised inbox to ensure quick response times
  • Escalating technical support enquiries to relevant team via CRM systems
  • Providing administrative support to the sales and business development teams
  • Preparing reports and documentation as required
  • Monitoring pricing and discount strategies to align with business goals
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in administration, customer service, or order processing
  • Highly organised, proactive, and results-driven with a self-starter mindset
  • Excellent communication skills - both over the phone and via email
