CMS Recruitment are currently working with a very well known engineering manufacturer based in Gateshead who are currently looking to recruit for a Die Maintenance Technician.

Job SummaryOur client are seeking a skilled Die Maintenance Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in press tool maintenance. This role requires someone with a proactive approach toward work.

Duties

  • Machining & Milling experience.
  • Grinding and use of hand tools
  • Drilling & Bench fitting Skills
  • Lathe experience
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a maintenance role
  • Previous experience in an automotive environment desirable but not essential .
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration within the team.

Desirable

  • Previous CNC experience
  • Welding experience MIG / TIG & STICK
